SPI mourns the sudden death of our dear colleague and board member representing the Indigenous People. Datu Daniel Pagantupan has been an advocate of peace, human rights, women’s rights, and indigenous people’s right and has work for peace and development among the partners of Sulong Peace across the country. He has also advocated to include the youth and train the next generation in leadership and indigenous culture. He has established a warm and respectful relationship among SPI board members, staff, and partners, for which he will be fondly missed.
