15-17 November 2022. Sulong Peace, in partnership with the Philippine National Police, conducted a Custodial Officers Seminar with Police Regional Offices X and V. The training was conducted at De Luxe Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City. It was participated by 35 face-to-face participants, and around 300 custodial officers from Regions 10 and 5 joined virtually.
This training is part of the series of trainings under the Memorandum of Understanding between SPI and PNP signed in March 2020. The trainings aim to increase education on Human Rights among the police officers.
PBGen. Vincent Calanoga, Chief of PNP Human Rights Affairs Office, graced the occasion with his presence.
